Mojo Monday #173 AND H2H Color Challenge: Sky, Pear, Colonial White

I decided to double-up and complete 2 Challenges with one card.  Here is the Mojo Monday #173 sketch:

And here is the H2H Color Challenge:

And here is my version:

I used heavenly blue, sweet leaf, and white daisy with a touch of sorbet.  The most wonderful thing about this color combo is that it is so versatile.  You can use almost ANY color as an accent. AND it is very similar to one of the new {returning...hint, hint} paper packs in the new Spring/Summer 2011 Close to My Heart Idea Book launching on Feb 1st!

So ladies, use up those scraps from last year, because you are going to FLIP over the new papers!!!!

All supplies used are from CTMH unless otherwise noted:
  • Cardstock used: Heavenly blue, Sweet Leaf, White Daisy
  • Ink, ribbon, and brads: Sorbet, Heavenly Blue, Black
  • Stamp sets: D1424 Something Splendid, C1366 Fringed Phrases
  • Liquid Pearls and Stickles in Baby Blue (0n cloud) from Ranger
Thanks for looking!

Check out Lorrinda's blog HERE for a chance to win blog candy!  It is an awesome package of goodies that will be given away on January 30th!

Nice card. I was talking with a friend the other day about a sympathy card in a card magazine. She was supriced she didn't see many of them in magazine. It seems to be sometimes the card that we send the most. Probably the one with the most meaning. Great card.

Great card Sonya. I need to make some sympathy cards, they seem to be the most difficult to make when you really need one, and it's nice to have them on hand. Thanks for inspiring me, and thanks for playing along at H2H!
